Today’s prompt has caused me to reflect on my schooling and all the teachers that have had a huge impact on my life. I have always felt like I grew up with some of the best teachers that a kid could ask for. Even though some seemed a little scary at first, I learned very important lessons from all of them. Most days I feel like the most important things I learned came from my elementary to high school years; how to work as a team, try to ask appropriate questions aid in figuring out a problem and not just have someone else give me the answer, how to make presentations, how to give a presentation, and most of all to not be afraid to keep learning.
So if you are a teacher and reading this, know that you are appreciated. Even if some students don’t realize how important it is now, they will. I would not have been able to accomplish what I have, without the guidance and help I received from my teachers, nor would I be the person I am today.
